Job purpose:

Our company is seeking a highly detail-oriented and professional Technical Pre-Sales Engineer. Technical Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for demonstrating products, networking with clients, expanding sales territories, attending seminars and trade exhibitions, conducting research and training, increasing the knowledge of technical products and providing training to staff members. In addition to providing excellent customer service.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Engineering- Telecommunication.
2+ years’ experience in a client-facing technical role in Fiber optic environment.
SCE certificate.
Willingness to travel.
Valid driver’s license.
Arabic/English Speaking preferred.
Ability to join our team immediately.

Job Responsibilities:

Preparation of presentations about the products or services with all their values for the usage of the sales department.
Engagement with the customers and interpretation of their needs and derivation of advice for prospective products that are aligned with the customers’ demands.
To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution.
Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes.
Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products.
Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities.
Ability to demonstrate company products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.

Job skills and knowledge qualification:

Preferred background knowledge in these products: Technology, Communication, Instrumentation, Test & Measurement.
A demonstrated history of customer focus and empathy, including the ability to diplomatically address customer concerns and provide feedback.
Excellent Knowledge of optical physical layer testing (optical dispersion, optical spectral analysis, OTDR Theory, Usage).
Knowledge of wireline test applications and technologies (Optical, Datacom, FTTx, SDH, Ethernet, etc.).
Knowledge of RF fundamentals such as radiation pattern, beam forming, modulation scheme, multipath, ISI, interference hunting & field test, troubleshooting & problem analysis capabilities is advantageous.
Hands on implementation experience.
Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients.
